Accessibility Statement

We build this website so that people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, and other assistive technology can use every part of it. If something is not working for you, we want to hear about it and fix it.

Our commitment

MissionLayer Systems LLC aims to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA (opens in a new tab) across this website, and to follow implementation practices consistent with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. Accessibility is treated as part of building the site correctly, not as a later remediation phase — the same approach we take on client work.

What we have implemented

  • Semantic HTML landmarks (header, nav, main, footer) on every page
  • A "skip to main content" link as the first focusable element
  • A single H1 per page and a heading order that does not skip levels
  • Full keyboard operation, including the mobile menu and the contact form
  • A visible, high-contrast focus indicator on every interactive element
  • Text and interface contrast meeting or exceeding WCAG 2.1 AA ratios
  • No information conveyed by colour alone — errors carry an icon and text
  • Form labels tied to their controls, with required and optional fields stated
  • An error summary at the top of the form, with links to each field in error
  • Reduced-motion support that honours the operating system preference
  • Descriptive link text and alternative text for meaningful images
  • Layouts that reflow to 320 pixels wide and support 200% zoom without loss

Known limitations

We would rather state these plainly than imply a level of conformance we have not verified.

Third-party and downloadable content
Documents we publish for download, such as a capability statement PDF, may not be fully tagged for screen readers. If you need a document in an accessible format, ask and we will provide one.
Ongoing verification
This site has been built against WCAG 2.1 AA and checked with automated tooling and keyboard testing. It has not been through a formal third-party audit or a comprehensive assistive-technology evaluation. We do not claim certified conformance.

Reporting an accessibility problem

If you encounter a barrier on this site, email contact@missionlayersystems.com. You can also use the contact form.

It helps if you can include the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser and assistive technology you were using — but please report the problem even if you cannot provide those details.

We acknowledge accessibility reports within two business days and will tell you what we intend to do and roughly when. If you need information from this site in an alternative format, ask and we will send it.

How this site has been assessed

Assessment to date consists of self-evaluation during development: automated accessibility checks, manual keyboard-only navigation of every page and form, heading-structure review, and contrast verification of the colour palette. No external audit has been performed, and this statement does not assert certified conformance.
